Bowls is a winter event (September to April) we meet every other Thursday at the Carterton Bowls Club (indoor rink) 10am to 12noon.
We are a group of experienced and beginners, equipment is provided and we have lots of fun and exercise, with everyone helping each other.

Will start again on Thursday September the 29th, and thereafter every fortnight.
We play on the indoor rink at Carterton Bowls Club Arkell Road
We start at 9.50am and finish by 12pm. Equipment is provided and cost is £2.50 per session.
We are a mixture of experienced and beginners.
Come along and have some fun, exercise and learn to play bowls.

If we can get enough players (experienced and beginners) we could form teams,
be a bit more competitive and the beginners would learn how to play in match
situations. Cost will be £2 to £2.50 per session, depends on numbers. If you
are a little unsure, give me a ring, we have experienced bowlers in U3A and they
are very happy to help beginners.

Carterton Bowls Club are willing to allow us the use of the Indoor Rink during the
winter months. Meetings are on 2nd December, 16th December, 6th January,
